The variety is a vigorously growing tree or shrub, the height of which in container cultivation can reach 1.2–1.5 m. Fruit ripening periods vary from July to September. The fruits are characterized by large size, juiciness, and an orange-yellow skin color with a red blush.
The plant is self-fertile. In northern regions, cultivation in greenhouses or conservatories is preferred. Historically, the variety was used in breeding programs as a parent component for developing winter-hardy hybrids.
