ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The variety is a yellow-fleshed, freestone peach, belonging to the classic type with round fruit shape. Its purpose is limited to fresh market use, and the variety requires 850 chill hours for successful development.
Studies note insufficient fruit flesh firmness, which reduces transportability and suitability for long-term storage. Difficulties with bud development when using certain rootstocks have also been recorded.
