The variety was obtained by crossing the Veteran and Cardinal varieties. The tree is medium-sized and has rose-like flowers. Flowering begins in the medium term, under Crimean conditions — in early April.
The fruits ripen in the second ten days of July. They have an average weight of about 125 g, a rounded shape, a rounded apex with a narrow groove, and a blunt base. The skin is of medium thickness, the ground color is yellow, with a blush.
The variety is adapted for cultivation in southern regions and is often used in scientific research as a control for studying winter hardiness and drought tolerance, as well as in breeding work.
