The fruits of this variety are characterized by an attractive appearance with a high percentage of red skin coloration. The variety is a nectarine, which distinguishes it from a classic peach by the absence of pubescence on the fruit surface.

Due to stable morphological and quality traits, Nectatop is actively used in breeding programs as a parent form for developing new hybrids. The variety is oriented toward commercial use.
