The Oradea 5 rootstock is used for growing peach and exhibits compatibility with almond. Trees grafted onto this rootstock have low vigor, which classifies it as a dwarf rootstock.
The plant is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests both in nursery conditions and in the orchard. The graft take rate is between 85% and 90%. Trees anchor well in the soil and do not require the mandatory installation of a trellis support system.
