The variety is intended for use as a vegetative rootstock and is characterized as a dwarfing type. Its use has a restrictive effect on the growth vigor of the scion, resulting in trees with a smaller height and trunk cross-section compared to more vigorous rootstocks.
The variety was created to improve adaptation in the northwestern region of Romania. In scientific research, it is used in the context of evaluating precocity and as biological material for breeding hybrid progeny.
