Variety of early or very early maturity, comparable in timing to the variety Maycrest. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, semi-erect or spreading habit, and good foliage density with dark green leaves. Flowering is mid-season, with weak or medium intensity.
Fruits are medium or large in size, round in shape, with a very shallow suture. The skin is almost smooth, with very slight pubescence and a deep dark red-purple color covering almost the entire surface. The flesh is yellow with red veins, very juicy and tender at maturity; the pit is difficult to separate from the flesh.
The variety is self-fertile, possesses low susceptibility of flower buds to winter frosts, and is therefore recommended for cultivation in favorable climatic conditions. The fruits have a distinct peach aroma and taste with a slight acidity at the beginning of ripening.
