The variety PRO 618, also known under the commercial name Extreme 618, is a tree with high vigor and an open canopy habit. The plant's flowering period is rated as medium.
The nectarine fruits have yellow flesh and a surface covered with a red blush over approximately 70% of the area. The average fruit size corresponds to the AA category. Taste qualities are defined by a high sugar level in the range of 18.1–19.6° Brix with low flesh acidity.
The variety is intended for commercial cultivation. In a number of registries, it may be classified as a Prunus cerasifera x Prunus persica hybrid.
