The «Red Coast» variety is a yellow-fleshed peach. In scientific literature, it most often appears as a reference variety for genetic analysis and studies of fruit quality indices, such as soluble solids content and titratable acidity.
Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, including height parameters, maturity dates, and disease resistance, are virtually absent in open publications. The variety should be distinguished from other crops with similar names and the widely distributed peach variety «Redhaven».
