The variety belongs to the early-ripening group. The soluble solids content in the fruits is about 9.65 °Brix, which is a typical indicator for early ripening periods.

In agronomic studies, the variety was examined in the context of flower frost resistance, where it showed a low percentage of damage. This variety is also used in breeding to develop new forms and serves as a standard for comparing the characteristics of peaches and nectarines.
