The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-open canopy. Flowering is late, occurring in mid-to-late March, which allows avoiding late spring frosts. The variety is self-fertile, does not require pollinators, and requires a high level of chilling hours.
The fruits have a round, slightly flattened shape and are classified as caliber AA. The skin is fully colored in dark red. The flesh is yellow, firm, and aromatic, possessing a sweet taste with a sub-acidic note. The variety is resistant to Plum pox virus, is not prone to fruit cracking during rains, and is not prone to the formation of cracks near the pit.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption. The high firmness of the flesh ensures good shelf life and suitability for transport.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
