Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock reduces the vigor of grafted trees by 50–60% compared to seed rootstocks, accelerates fruit ripening by 5–10 days, and promotes early entry into commercial bearing. In the stool bed, the plant is a tree or shrub 2.5–3 m tall. It does not form root suckers in the orchard.

The root system has winter hardiness down to -15°C and tolerates heavy, dense, and waterlogged soils well, including temporary flooding for up to 2 weeks. However, the rootstock is insufficiently drought-tolerant and requires irrigation in southern regions. It is resistant to root rots and some nematodes, but susceptible to chlorosis and crown gall.

It is propagated by softwood and hardwood cuttings, as well as by tissue culture. It has good anchorage, although it may require support. It has good compatibility with most varieties of plum, cherry plum, and apricot; compatibility with peach may vary.
