The Krisma variety is used for research purposes as breeding material. It is utilized to study interspecific hybridization processes, in particular when crossing with Anemone coronaria, as well as in plant tissue culture experiments.

In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned in the context of research on protection against the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ranunculi, where it served as an object of testing in the search for ways to increase plant resistance to diseases.
