The variety is late-maturing and intended for winter cultivation; the development cycle is about four months. Root crops have a cylindrical or elongated shape, tapering at the end, and reach a length of 18 to 30 cm with an average weight of 450–500 grams.

The skin of the fruit is black or dark brown, slightly rough; the flesh is white, firm, with a characteristic intense spicy taste. The variety is characterized by low sensitivity to the formation of cavities inside the root crop and is distinguished by good keeping quality when stored in sand.
