Variety description

The roots have an elongated conical shape, reaching 20–30 cm in length, sometimes up to 50 cm, with a diameter of 5–6 cm in the upper part. The root skin is purple, the flesh is white and firm, less pungent than other winter varieties.

The variety is a winter type; sowing is carried out in July, and harvesting is performed from September to December. The plant has resistance to cracking when exposed to frosts. The variety is prone to degeneration, which requires a careful approach to seed selection.

Used in cooking fresh, for preparing salads, or sautéed as a side dish. Suitable for long-term storage in a cellar or silo.
