The variety is intended for cultivation as a green manure crop. The plant is characterized by intensive initial biomass growth, low to medium susceptibility to flowering, and very low to low susceptibility to lodging.
The variety is resistant to the beet cyst nematode Heterodera schachtii. Studies also confirm its effectiveness as a crop that suppresses the reproduction of other nematode species, including Meloidogyne chitwoodi and Pratylenchus penetrans.
