The variety is characterized by very late flowering and intensive biomass accumulation at the initial stages of development. It has an extremely low tendency to lodging.
The plant possesses complex resistance to the beet cyst nematode Heterodera schachtii, as well as to the root-knot nematodes Meloidogyne chitwoodi and Meloidogyne hapla. The variety does not promote the reproduction of M. chitwoodi.
Used as a catch crop for nematode suppression, improvement of soil structure, and weed control due to rapid growth.
