The variety is intended for cultivation in stubble seeding as a fodder crop. It can be used as green manure to enrich the soil with organic matter and improve its physical properties due to rapid growth and the development of a powerful root system.
The plant forms a dense rosette of leaves and a deep taproot. Unlike some specialized varieties, Wiktor is not always classified as nematode-resistant. The variety is susceptible to pathogens common with rapeseed, in particular clubroot, therefore it is not recommended for inclusion in crop rotations with a high proportion of winter rapeseed.
