The Jolly radish variety belongs to the category of early-maturing crops, ripening in 23–30 days, in rare cases up to 35–45 days. The root vegetables have a round shape, bright red skin, and white, crisp, firm flesh without bitterness; their diameter is 3–5 cm. The plant has strong, short foliage and adapts well to low light conditions.
The variety is resistant to the formation of cavities inside the root vegetable, bolting, powdery mildew, and white rot, and is also capable of tolerating temperature fluctuations and drought. The root vegetables retain their marketability and turgor for a long time, which allows for prolonged marketing.
The variety is intended for cultivation in protected and open ground at any time of the year and is suitable for repeated sowings. It is oriented toward the production of early bunching produce for the fresh market.
