The variety forms large, round root crops with a diameter of up to 6 cm, carmine-red in color with white, juicy, and tender flesh possessing a delicate pungency. The plant is characterized by rapid growth; the crop matures 4–6 weeks after sowing.
Key features of the variety are its resistance to cracking and "lignification" of the flesh, as well as high resistance to bolting. This is not an F1 hybrid, therefore its seeds are suitable for further propagation.
The variety is versatile in use: it is suitable for cultivation in open field, film greenhouses, hotbeds, and containers. Historically, the variety originates from the vicinity of Vienna, where it was traditionally grown by local gardeners for regional markets.
