The flowers of the Scorpius variety are scarlet with a wine-red tint. The plant's stems consist of flat dark green segments, which take on a bronze hue in new growth; small bristles may be present along the edges of the segments.
The plant reaches 20–30 cm in height and width. Flowering occurs in the spring, during the period from March to May. The variety is intended for ornamental indoor cultivation and is considered relatively low-maintenance, although it is sensitive to overwatering and direct sunlight.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
