The flowers of the Aline variety are double, open, funnel-shaped, and pure white with no spots or markings on the petals. The plant has broad-elliptic leaves, colored dark green on the upper side and a lighter tone on the underside.
The variety belongs to the group of early-flowering evergreen azaleas and is traditionally grown as a houseplant or greenhouse crop. The plant is often used as a reference variety for distinctness, uniformity, and stability testing.
