The variety «Hluboká» belongs to the group of Japanese azaleas and is an evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub intended for ornamental landscaping.

The plant is a product of Czech breeding and is known as one of the parental components for creating new varieties, in particular the hybrid «Salajka PBR».
