The variety belongs to the Ghent azalea group and is a compact shrub 30–40 cm in height. The flowers are double, pink in color, and reach 3–5 cm in diameter. The foliage is dark green and decorative throughout the year.
The flowering period occurs from February to May. The plant is thermophilic and intended for cultivation in indoor spaces, greenhouses, and winter gardens. It requires compliance with soil moisture and acidity regimes. The Tamira variety with pink flowers should be distinguished from the Tamira Red variation with red flowers.
