The Karat variety was obtained by crossing the Milevsky and Krasny Slivovy varieties. Berries reach a mass of 5–8 g, with individual specimens weighing up to 10 g.
The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and scab infection. The bush is characterized by low thorniness, which facilitates plant care and harvesting.
