The variety was bred by breeder Julius Aamisepp at the Jõgeva Plant Breeding Station. Work on the variety began in 1940 by sowing seeds obtained from open pollination of the «Alicant» variety.
The berries of the variety have a brownish-red color and medium size. In terms of bush structure, the variety is described as similar to the «Aamisepa viljakas» variety. In the period from 1957 to 1967, the variety was included in the list of those recommended for cultivation in Estonia. Currently, it is not grown commercially, but is listed in registers as a protected genotype.
