The medium-sized plant forms a hemispherical crown and a moderately dense bush. Shoots of medium vigor usually have one well-developed thorn; double thorns are rare, and triple thorns are virtually absent.
The fruits are large, reaching 4 cm in diameter, and have an ellipsoid or oval shape. In the phase of full maturity, the skin acquires a dark red or wine-red color, is covered with a waxy bloom, and has slight pubescence.
The variety is distinguished by early initiation of vegetation and a mid-early ripening period with a long harvest window. Resistance to American gooseberry mildew is medium, and to anthracnose is high. The plant tolerates spring frosts down to -3 °C during the flowering period.
