Variety description

The variety is a spreading shrub with a height of 80 to 130 cm. The flowers are a deep dark red or dark crimson color, acquiring a purple hue with age. They have a cupped shape and a high degree of doubling, with up to 140 petals. The flower fragrance is described as a classic rose oil scent.

The plant has large, stiff, dark green, slightly rugose foliage. The variety is repeat-flowering, maintaining its decorative quality from early summer until autumn. Heavy inflorescences may give the branches a drooping appearance. The plant is characterized by high resistance to diseases, including black spot.

The variety is suitable for group plantings, use in mixed borders, container cultivation, and cut flowers. It was obtained by crossing the roses Mary Rose and Prospero.
