The variety was obtained by crossing the English rose Wife of Bath with a seedling originating from the Rosa rugosa hybrid Conrad Ferdinand Meyer. The plant forms cupped flowers with a light fragrance. Young foliage has a reddish hue, while mature foliage is mid-green and matte.
The plant belongs to USDA winter hardiness zone 5. Rain resistance is moderate; under conditions of high humidity, flowers may be damaged or fail to open well. The variety is suitable for creating borders, mixed plantings, flower beds, and for cultivation in containers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
