Variety description

The bush is characterized by compactness, density, and a neat shape, reaching a height of 80 to 120 cm and a width of 60–100 cm. The foliage is dark green, matte or with a slight sheen. The flowers are large, 10–12 cm in diameter, and have 50 to 90 petals. As they open, the flower shape transforms from cupped to a rosette. The flower color is deep, raspberry-red, sometimes acquiring a lilac hue before fading. The fragrance is rated as medium, fruity.

The variety is repeat-flowering, demonstrating abundant and prolonged blooming from the beginning of summer until autumn. The bush is strong and maintains its shape well. The rose is suitable for use as a cut flower, suitable for borders, group plantings, and container cultivation. The variety is also known by the trade name Darcey Bussell and the synonym Monferrato.
