The bush has a dense, branching growth habit, reaching 120–125 cm in height and 90–100 cm in width. The plant's stems are nearly thornless; the foliage is dark green and leathery.

The flowers are double, containing about 110 petals, and possess a deeply cupped shape characteristic of old roses. The coloration is soft pink, lightening towards the edges; the fragrance is light to medium with notes of old rose.

The variety is repeat-flowering; blooming occurs in waves from late spring until late autumn. The plant is used in flower beds, mixed borders, and for creating hedges.
