Variety description

The variety is a Kordesii group hybrid, obtained by crossing the Marie-Victorin and Louis Jolliet varieties. The plant forms a vigorous bush 0.8–1.5 m in height, which can be grown as a wide spreading shrub or used as a climbing rose with support. Foliage is dense, grey-green, semi-glossy, resembling the foliage of Rosa rugosa.

Flowers have an old-fashioned shape, a clear pink color, a diameter of 8–10 cm and count 26–40 petals, revealing a yellow center with stamens when fully open. It possesses a strong sweet spicy fragrance. Blooming is recurrent, continuing from June until late autumn.

The variety has high resistance to major fungal diseases, such as black spot, powdery mildew, rust, and downy mildew. It possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -34°C. It is used in group plantings, as a specimen plant, in urban landscaping, and for vertical decoration.
