The Daylight variety, also known as Interlight, is a bushy deciduous shrub. The plant possesses thorny stems and imparipinnate leaves consisting of glossy, serrated leaflets of a dark green color.

The flowers of the variety are double and have a pale apricot shade; they are gathered in inflorescences. The variety belongs to the repeat-flowering category and is capable of blooming during the period from late spring to autumn.
