The bush is upright and branched, reaching a height of 90 to 200 cm. The foliage is characteristic of the Rugosa group, with a raised, corrugated surface.
Large semi-double flowers with a diameter of 8–10 cm have a peony shape and contain more than 41 petals. The coloration is deep pink or dark red, with a purple or violet hue appearing in the center, complemented by yellow-white stamens.
The variety is remontant and blooms in waves until frost. After flowering ends, the plant forms decorative fruits. It is used in solitary plantings or for creating hedges.
