The variety Dormode, also known as Cap Horn, is classified as a hybrid tea rose, however, due to its tall upright shoots, it is often categorized as a shrub rose. The bush reaches a height of 1 to 2 meters.
The flowers of the variety are large, about 11 cm in diameter, and include approximately 30 petals. The coloration combines red and orange colors with a silvery shade on the reverse of the petals; the fragrance is light. The plant is characterized by repeat flowering.
The variety possesses medium resistance to winter temperatures and high susceptibility to black spot. In terms of care, low pruning of the bush in spring is recommended.
