The plant forms a compact bush 80–110 cm tall and 60–70 cm wide. The flowers reach 10–13 cm in diameter, have a cupped or goblet shape, and contain about 56 velvety petals. There is also a climbing rose version of this variety.
Flowering continues from June to October. The variety has high winter hardiness (USDA zone 6, down to -23°C), but has low resistance to rain and moderate resistance to major rose diseases, such as black spot and powdery mildew.
