The variety belongs to the Floribunda group, sometimes classified as a Polyantha rose. The flowers have a red color, a velvety texture, and a single form. The plant is adapted for cultivation in hardiness zones 6 through 10.

The variety is distinguished by its ability for constant abundant repeat flowering. In cultivation, the variety is known under the commercial name Keep in Touch and the synonym Michel Strogoff.
