The shrub is upright and densely branched, reaching a height of 65 to 130 cm and a width of 55–85 cm. The cup-shaped flowers contain more than 40 petals colored in a pastel "shell" pink, which may lighten with age.

The variety is a repeat-bloomer, with flowering continuing from early summer to autumn. It possesses a strong old rose style fragrance. Due to the weight of the inflorescences, the flowers may droop under their own mass, especially during rainfall.

The winter hardiness of the variety is down to –20 °C. The plant is suitable for use in flower beds, borders, group plantings, and container cultivation.
