Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of large-flowered climbing roses. The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 180 to 420 cm, and the bush width is 180–260 cm. The foliage is leathery, glossy, dark green; young foliage may have a reddish hue.

The flowers are about 10 cm in diameter, double, containing about 40 petals. The flower shape is deeply cupped, eventually opening into a rosette. The color is deep, dark ruby, resistant to fading. The fragrance is light, sweet. The flowers tolerate rainy weather well.

The variety is repeat-flowering; flowering continues from late spring until frosts. Winter hardiness corresponds to zones 5b–6; the variety withstands temperature drops down to -23...-26 °C. The plant shows resistance to black spot, powdery mildew, and rust.

The variety is intended for vertical landscaping of arches, pergolas, and walls; it can be used as a solitaire or in mixed plantings. Suitable for growing in containers with a volume of 40–50 liters.
