The variety is a broad, spreading shrub 50–80 cm in height. The flowers are semi-double, pink-red in shade, with prominent yellow stamens and a light fragrance. After flowering, the plant produces decorative orange hips.

Flowering occurs in several waves throughout the season. The variety possesses high disease resistance and is a honey plant. Due to its compact size, the plant is suitable for mass planting, use in mixed borders, and as a groundcover landscape shrub.
