The Amirose variety belongs to the Hulthemia hybrid group (Persica hybrids). The plant is a compact or compact-spreading bush 40–60 cm tall, which can also be used as a groundcover rose.

The flowering of the variety is prolonged; buds open into semi-double or double flowers with 30–40 petals, gathered in inflorescences of 3–7 pieces. Flower color varies from soft peach to pink with a characteristic violet-purple center, acquiring whitish or pinkish-violet shades as they fade.

The plant has dark green glossy foliage and a light spicy fragrance. The variety is characterized as winter-hardy and has high disease resistance.
