The Korhoro variety has the breeding code KORhoro and is known under the trade name Morgensonne 88. The plant belongs to the climbing rose group. The flowers are characterized by a light yellow or creamy-white color and the absence of fragrance.

The variety is repeat-flowering. In specialized sources, this variety is clearly distinguished from the 1954 Morgensonne shrub rose and the Morgengrüss climbing rose, which has a different flower color.
