The variety with the trade name Marondo belongs to the floribunda or shrub rose group. The plant forms a spreading bush 0.7–0.9 m tall with glossy green foliage.

Flowers approximately 5 cm in diameter have a light fragrance and are red in color. Flowering is abundant and repeat, continuing from spring until early winter, after which decorative hips are formed.

The variety has high resistance to powdery mildew and black spot, and withstands temperatures down to -15...-20 °C. In cultivation, it requires spring pruning.
