Variety description

The variety belongs to the hybrid tea rose group from the Romantica collection. The flowers are of a rich red-crimson shade with a velvety sheen, are deeply double, have a quartered shape and reach 12–13 cm in diameter. The fragrance is intense, with notes of rose oil, anise, raspberry and wild strawberry.

The plant forms an upright, compact bush 90–150 cm high and 70–80 cm wide. The foliage is dark green, semi-glossy. The variety is repeat-flowering and is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew, black spot and rain. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6.

The rose is suitable for single and group plantings, creating borders, as well as for cut flowers. The variety is found under the synonyms Alain Souchon, Rouge Royale, Caruso, Valentina Casucci and Father's Love.
