Variety description

The variety is an upright deciduous shrub with thorny stems. The foliage is pinnately compound, consisting of dark green, elliptical, serrated leaflets.

The flowers are large, double, pale yellow with a pink tint, and possess a fragrance. The flowering period continues from late spring until autumn.

The plant prefers open sunny sites and well-drained soils with a pH ranging from acidic to alkaline. It is used in ornamental gardening.
