Meiriansois, known as Candy Cane Cocktail, belongs to the floribunda group. The plant forms a compact, upright, and bushy shrub 90–120 cm high and 60–90 cm wide with dark green semi-glossy foliage.

The flowers are semi-double, with 20–25 petals, reaching 7.5–9 cm in diameter. They are cream-white in color with bright red or pink streaks and a border, and possess a mild fruity fragrance.

The variety is characterized by abundant, almost continuous repeat flowering from late spring until frost. It possesses high resistance to diseases, including powdery mildew, and is suitable for cultivation in USDA hardiness zones 5–10.
