The Nektar variety was developed in Bulgaria for the needs of the food and pharmaceutical industries. The plant is cultivated specifically for harvesting fruits, which are characterized by a high content of vitamin C (1100–2000 mg/100 g), total sugars (7–15%), organic acids (1.7–2.4%), and dry matter (36–40%).
Other agronomic characteristics of the variety, such as exact plant height or disease resistance, are not detailed in the publications.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
