The variety Nirporex, known under the trade name Pop Star, is a large-flowered shrub rose. The bud has an elegant shape, contains 50–60 petals, and reaches a diameter of 14 cm when fully open. The flower fragrance is mild.

The plant forms a compact upright shrub 70–80 cm tall and 50–60 cm wide with dark green glossy foliage. The shoots are characterized by sturdiness. The variety is a repeat bloomer, characterized by continuous flowering from May until frosts.

The variety has high disease resistance. It is intended for solitary and group plantings, container cultivation, and is also suitable for cut flowers.
