The variety belongs to the groundcover rose group and the Towne & Country series. The bush is dense, reaches 50 cm in width, and has glossy dark green foliage. Flowering continues from late spring until frosts; the flowers are gathered in inflorescences and have a weak scent or no scent at all.

In trade, the plant is found under the names Charming Cover, Manhattan, and Schwarzwaldfeuer. The variety is intended for use in landscape design, including the creation of borders and group plantings.
