The variety Blackberry Nip is a hybrid tea rose. The flowers have a classic bud shape, reach 110 mm in diameter, and possess a strong fragrance. The petal color ranges from raspberry-purple to wine-violet.
The plant forms an upright bush up to 1.5 m tall and about 1 m wide. The dark green foliage has a characteristic glaucous-grey or silvery hue, and the shoots are thorny. Flowers are located on the stems primarily singly.
The variety is repeat-flowering; blooming continues from late spring until autumn. The plant is characterized as vigorous and winter-hardy, with good disease resistance. The flowers remain fresh for a long time when cut, and the petals fall off on their own after flowering.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
